1. How to Report
If you believe our proxy service is being used for illegal activity, copyright infringement, fraud, or other abuse, please report it to us. Send a clear description of the issue to:
Use the subject line "Abuse Report" or "Legal Notice" so we can prioritise your message. We will acknowledge receipt where appropriate and will not disclose your report to the reported party beyond what is necessary to address the matter or comply with law.
2. What to Include in Your Report
To help us investigate, please provide as much of the following as you can:
- Your name (or the name of your organisation) and a way to contact you (email and, if relevant, postal address)
- A description of the alleged abuse (e.g. copyright infringement, illegal content, fraud, spam, or other misuse)
- Any information that could help us identify the user or traffic (e.g. IP address, date and time, URL or resource involved, or reference to content)
- If your report concerns copyright: identification of the work you own or represent, and of the material you believe is infringing
- If you are acting on behalf of a rights holder or authority: confirmation of your authority and any reference number or case identifier
We do not log which websites or services our users access through our proxies. Our ability to link a report to a specific account depends on the information you provide (e.g. IP and time). Incomplete reports may limit what we can do, but we will still review them and act where we can.
3. What We Do With Reports
We take abuse reports seriously. We will:
- Review the report and any evidence provided
- Where we can identify an account and the report is well-founded, take action in line with our Terms and Fair Use Policy (e.g. warning, suspension, or termination)
- Preserve information where we are required to do so by law or for the purpose of legal or regulatory proceedings
- Cooperate with law enforcement and other competent authorities when we receive a lawful request or are under a legal duty to do so
- Share report details and our findings with law enforcement or other competent bodies when required by law or when we reasonably believe it necessary to address serious abuse
We may take action (including suspension or termination) without giving prior notice to the reported user when we reasonably consider it necessary to prevent further harm or to comply with law. We do not decide legal questions (e.g. whether content is defamatory or whether a use is fair under copyright). We act on the basis of our policies, applicable law, and any court or regulatory orders we receive. We do not host user-generated content. We are not liable to reporters or to reported users for the way we handle reports, provided we act in good faith and in line with our policies and applicable law.
4. Types of Abuse We Address
We respond to reports that fall within the scope of our Terms and Fair Use Policy, including:
- Illegal content or activity (including content that may amount to a criminal offence under UK or other applicable law)
- Copyright or other intellectual property infringement where you provide sufficient information for us to act
- Fraud, phishing, or financial crime
- Spam, harassment, or misuse of personal data
- Network abuse, hacking, or other technical misuse
We comply with applicable UK law and cooperate with regulators and law enforcement when required.
5. Legal and Law Enforcement Requests
Law enforcement and other public bodies with legal authority may send requests (e.g. subpoenas, court orders, or statutory notices) to our contact address. We will respond to valid legal process in accordance with applicable law. We may retain and disclose account and usage information where we are legally required or permitted to do so.
6. False or Misleading Reports
Do not send reports that you know to be false or that are intended to harass or cause harm. Misuse of this process may be reported to the relevant authorities and could result in legal action.
